Cold Formed Steel Sheet Piles

Description

Cold-formed steel sheet piles are made from high-quality steel coils through continuous cold bending, and can be Ω-shaped, Z-shaped, or any other desired shape.

Hanzi offers cold-formed steel sheet piles, including flat-head, U-shaped, and Z-shaped types. They are suitable for various building structures, with thicknesses ranging from 4 mm (lightweight) to 15 mm (heavyweight), and lengths up to 24 meters, with longer sizes available upon request.

We can also customize cold-formed steel sheet piles according to customer specifications and requirements.

Specifications

Applications:

Cold-formed steel sheet piles are suitable for erosion and collapse prevention along riverbanks, waterways, and structural protection of medium-height retaining walls. They are also suitable for steel sheet pile cutoff walls or retaining walls in contaminated sites.

Furthermore, because sound-absorbing materials can be installed on the front of the steel sheet piles, they can also be used to construct sound barriers.

Key features of cold formed sheet piles:

- Protective layer section modulus ranges from 100 to 2470 cm³/m

- Uniform section thickness, varying from 3 mm to 10 mm (depending on section type

- High section modulus/mass ratio

- Large width, reducing handling and installation time

- (Some sections) Small depth, suitable for space-constrained structures

- Interlocking angle deviation is 10º

- Ensures shear force transfer along the neutral axis (crucial for U-shaped sheet piles)

- Pre-bent sheet piles can be used at corners
