The new target price for JZ36-700 steel sheet piles is JZ38-700 for contracts and JZ40-700 for HA tenders. Only feasibility studies will be conducted and contractors selected. This directly impacts our quality of life.

The burden of hot-rolled steel sheet pile bidding will be minimized to avoid unnecessary investment. Detailed design work will be carried out as much as possible during the bidding phase. A risk plan will be developed along with the bid as part of the quality assurance process. The evaluation process should also determine how to fairly allocate risk to the parties best able to manage it. Decisions we make today about what we build, how we build it, and how we maintain it will have profound long-term consequences.
