The gap between the sheet pile and CR430 DD22601, created by models such as CR435 DD28130, CR440 DD12889, CR445 DD28233, and CR450 DD22864, allows the pile to pass during driving but prevents water from entering the cofferdam. The forces CR430 and CR435 are subject to include hydrostatic pressure, soil loads, water flow forces, wave forces, ice forces, seismic loads, and accidental loads.

When explaining changes in CR440, CR445, and CR450 in this press release, please note that the monthly changes in seasonally adjusted CR435 and CR440 often exhibit irregular fluctuations. Safety controls, flaggers, signage, and safe site controls must be maintained at all times when conducting construction within the right-of-way. This is due to the relatively shallow foundations due to the piers' proximity to the shoreline, and the fact that excavation was performed before the structure was placed, which reduced the bearing capacity of the CR430.
