For sheet piles (KD500/5, D28472, KD500/6, D28473) to be provided at depths of approximately 12 to 15 meters below the still water surface, KD 500/5 and KD 500/6 will prove to be more economical than cofferdams.
KD 500/5 and KD 500/6 grooved sheet gates can be custom-made to your specifications and coated with our KD500/5-specific polymer wood coating for enhanced protection against water and other harsh environments. We can design according to your drawings or produce CAD drawings for you.
KD500/6 deep foundations may be constructed of timber, temporary or permanent steel shells, or thin or mass concrete. To select between these three types of KD 500/6 deep foundations, foundation engineers must understand the differences between them. KD 500/5 pier, pile, and caisson foundations are shown below.
