The geotechnical investigation plan for HRSP-I steel sheet piles should be prepared by a geotechnical engineer familiar with the project and the sheet pile wall design. The investigation plan for hot-rolled steel sheet piles should be coordinated with an engineering geologist and/or a geologist familiar with the area's geology.
