Z-Type cold-formed steel sheet piles (MSZ18-312 and MSZ18-340) should be designed to ensure that only the horizontal and vertical forces of MSZ18-350 are transferred to the wall's decking members. Design: A critical factor in box design is the adequacy of the MSZ18-406 foundation. The foundation should be free of knots and extend 6 inches beyond the platform on both sides and ends, and 6 inches beyond the support.

Mega Zee 18 steel sheet piles (MSZ18-375) should be continuous along the entire length of the wall and have no expansion joints. Although the cost of the concrete slab is slightly higher than the steel purlins used in standard bin-wall, installation costs can be reduced. Horizontal forces applied by the support plate to the top of the wall's decking members should comply with Section 5.9.3.6.1. Wooden edging of at least MSZ18-375 or equivalent should be provided around the platform to prevent tools from rolling off. The top layer of soil reinforcement should be designed for a minimum wall tensile load equivalent to 1.9 kilopounds per foot of wall.

Observed ice reactions on the Contech Marine BinWall indicate that the structure's mass is capable of resisting the resultant force of MSZ18-340. This load should be considered a factored load with an FSpo equal to or greater than 1.0, and the soil MSZ18-312 reinforcement load should be less than or equal to 1.33Ta. The minimum length of the top layer of soil reinforcement should be 16 feet.
