Steel sheet piles are reusable and 100% recyclable, providing a cost-effective shoring solution. Below, I'll explain how used steel sheet piles are handled.
1. Used steel sheet piles are individually laid out, their profiles and lengths determined, and their dimensional accuracy checked. If necessary, defective sheet pile heads are cut to conform to their shape, and the treatment holes are burned.
2. Existing sheet pile welds and attachments are removed, and the anchor holes are welded closed.
3. Dirty sheet piles and interlocks are cleaned as required.
4. These actions are recorded, and the sheet piles are then stored according to profile and length and saved in our warehouse management system.
5. Used steel sheet piles can be used in a variety of applications, such as shoring.
